It is important for school children that  bedtime is appropriate to the time they need to get up in the morning for school, so that they are enthusiastic and well rested when it comes to school.

If children are not getting enough sleep, it will become an eternal struggle to get them out of bed in the mornings, and that is not healthy for child or parent!
